The Profession

Now a significant global practice, the career services profession has been quietly transforming over three decades. The scope of our work is diverse and has evolved from offering only career consulting to people exploring a career change or in transition through job loss.

Our profession offers a wide range of competencies in a wider range of business and personal situations. Today in over 30 countries our profession will be found operating as independent career professionals, owners or consultants in small and large career service firms; and as consultants inside organizations, universities or community based agencies.

Serving both organizations and individuals, regionally in Europe, North & South America and Africa and Asia Pacific, the career profession has grown - supporting people in their work and life changes - combining one to one personal service with web based delivery tools.
